Sportsworldghana.com Can authoritatively reveal that, the French Ligue 1 side RC Strasbourg Alsace received €6m for the player but turned down to offer.

According to our sources, the Seville based club has opted to increase their initial offer to make it €7m for the Villarreal target.

Our information reveals that the club is considering the offer received and a deal could be struck soon for the transfer of Alexander Djiku to the Spanish La Liga club.

Djiku was named in L’équipe’s Team-Of-The-Week for five times with a commanding performance in the French Ligue 1 for his team.

The two teams are negotiating for a possible €1-2m add-ons to the deal as Strasbourg value the player to be worth more than what Sevilla are currently offering.

However, the deal is close but Sevilla are still considering other options should the French Ligue 1 side decides not to accept the offer on table.
