According to Opoku Afriyie (Pkay), Ghanaian football giants, Hearts of Oak, are set to acquire the services of French striker Stephane Ernest Bombelenga, who currently plays in the United Kingdom.
The 25-year-old striker is expected to make his way to Ghana in the coming days to finalize his move to the 2000 CAF Champions League winners, Hearts of Oak.
Hearts of Oak has been seeking to bolster their attacking options after a disappointing performance in the last season. With Bombelenga’s potential addition to the squad, they hope to find the solution they have been searching for in the attack.
The arrival of Bombelenga is seen as a significant boost to the team’s chances of winning the Ghana Premier League next season, as it will provide them with additional firepower upfront.
The finalization of the transfer will be officially confirmed after completing the necessary paperwork and medical examinations, which the club’s management and coaching staff are closely overseeing.
Reports suggest that Bombelenga’s move to Hearts of Oak is at the recommendation of their newly-appointed Technical Director, Rene Hiddink.
Before this transfer, Stephane Bombelenga played for Academy Club Rangers in the Congolese topflight and had stints with Uxbridge FC U23 side, Eastbourne Borough FC, Sportis Social FC, and Ipswich town football club.
