Enock Agyei has asked the club to pay him that amount or he might consider a move to rivals to Standard Liege.
The 18-year-old striker’s contract with Anderlecht ends of in June and is set to leave for free should the club fails to meet his demands.
Brussels medium Bruzz’s podcast Radio Radzinski now told Sportsworldghana.com that Agyei asked Anderlecht for a salary of €500,000 a year.
“I have been told that he is asking 500,000 euros a year,” one of the journalists around the table explained. “That’s as much as some carrying players.”
“Enock shows his talent, but he is not a contributing player at the Futures. He is no Stassin or Leoni. He didn’t show he is ready yet. If you ask for a salary of 500,000 euros, it is not to sit on the bench. Then you have to be a player who plays and carries the team.”
Agyie has scored three goals and one assist in 16 games to his name in the Belgium Challenge League for the Mauves and Whites.
