Acceler8z FC is gearing up for a thrilling showdown with Ghanaian football giants Asante Kotoko SC in the Round of 32 of the MTN FA Cup.

The much-anticipated match will take place on Sunday at the renowned Baba Yara Stadium, promising an exciting encounter between the underdogs and the seasoned top-flight team.

Asante Kotoko, currently sitting 5th in the Ghana Premier League, are the heavy favorites to progress to the next stage. With their impressive history in both African and Ghanaian football, as well as a squad filled with quality, the Porcupine Warriors head into the game with high expectations.

Despite the daunting task ahead, Acceler8z FC, a Division Two side from the Ashanti Region, is undeterred. Manager Salawodin Imran has boldly expressed his team’s determination to cause an upset.

“We have nothing to lose, but we have everything to gain,” Imran confidently stated. “Of course, they are our grandfathers in football, but we are ready to upset Kotoko. We are determined to make history.”

With a fearless mindset, the underdogs are ready to take on the challenge, motivated by the chance to showcase their skills on a prominent stage. While Kotoko aims to assert their dominance, Acceler8z FC will be fighting to prove that anything is possible.

The question remains: will Asante Kotoko meet expectations, or will Acceler8z FC pull off one of the biggest upsets in the competition’s history?
