Black Stars technical adviser, Chris Hughton believes that fans aren’t concerned about how Ghana qualifies from the World cup group stages.
Ghana have been drawn in group H against Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay and are looking to at least reach the round of 16.
Hughton told Super Sports that Ghanaians only want to see the country progress and aren’t concerned about the style of play.
“Other things that are in the past are very much in the past. And all our emotions and the emotions of the supporters are very much fixed on can we make it through the group stage of the world cup and make progress. And they won’t care how we do it,” he said.
“It will be wonderful to be able to do it, playing free-flowing football, entertaining football. But they won’t care as the supporters want to see us qualify from the group stage , do well, and we’re going to do probably the best we can.”
Ghana are set to face Brazil on 23rd September in a pre-world cup friendly.
