Ghanaian fans have shown their excitement on social media following the appointment of Chris Hughton as the new Black Stars head coach.

The former Brighton man was officially appointed by the Ghana Football Association on Sunday evening, taking the vacant position after Otto Addo left.

He will be assisted by Didi Dramani and George Boateng.

The duration of his contract is currently unknown.
