Spanish football giants Barcelona have offered trials to highly rated Ghanaian left- back David Oduro, according to a report from Max TV’s Yaw Ampofo Ankrah.
The gifted 17 year is currently in the books of Ghana Premier League outfit Accra Lions; where he joined from Desideros FC just two seasons ago.
Oduro is preparing to move to Europe and has interest from a host of clubs including Chelsea where he recently had trials at, Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Sociedad.
Chelsea secured an early look at the technically proficient defender, who has also already played 40 matches in the Ghana Premier League and is a current Under-20 international.
It remains unclear whether the Barcelona will sign Oduro permanently or if the youngster can secure a work permit before his 18th birthday in June.
The big opportunity does not come entirely as a surprise as it is believed that Barcelona have been closely monitoring Oduro who was judged the best defender in the KGL Ghana U-17 Championship in 2022.
