Dannish club FC Nordsjaelland are said to be interested in signing Ghana midfielder Majeed Ashimeru from RSC Anderlecht.
The 28-year-old has once again been left out of the 29-man squad travelling to Spain for a winter training camp.
Anderlecht sporting director Olivier Renard is facing a busy transfer window as he has to decide on the future of the talented midfielder.
Ashimeru was declared surplus to requirements in the First Team before the start of the season but has been keeping fit with the club’s U23 side in the second-tier league.
The former WAFA star has since scored one goal in many appearances.
Ashimeru, formerly of Ghana Premier League side WAFA SC, joined Anderlecht in summer 2021, with his current contract expiring in 2027.
