Ghanaian goalkeeper Abdul Manaf Nurudeen expresses his joy at returning to action for KAS Eupen in the Belgian league, marking his comeback after a period of injury-induced absence.
Manaf showcased his skills throughout the entirety of the match as KAS Eupen secured a 1-1 draw with Kortrijk in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
Having endured a spell on the sidelines due to an injury sustained in October 2023, the Black Stars goalkeeper relished the opportunity to reclaim his position between the posts, making his first league start since the beginning of 2024. He previously featured in a friendly match against Borussia Monchengladbach last month.
Following the game, the 25-year-old took to his Instagram handle to express his excitement about returning to the field, stating, “Feels good to be back doing what I love, and an important point to take into the next game.”
With KAS Eupen currently contending with relegation from the Belgian league and competing in the relegation group, Nurudeen’s return provides a welcomed boost as the team prepares to face RWD Molenbeek in their upcoming fixture on Friday.
