Ghanaian forward Felix Afena-Gyan expresses joy as he resumes training, gearing up for his comeback from injury. The US Cremonese striker has been actively participating in sessions at the Giovanni Arvedi training center in preparation for his return to the Cremonese squad.
Taking to social media, the Black Stars forward shared his excitement about getting back to what he loves, stating, “I am back to what I love. Filled with joy,” in a post on X, formerly Twitter.
Having been sidelined with an injury for nearly two months, it remains uncertain whether Afena-Gyan is engaging in group training and if he will make a return to Serie B action before the winter break.
The 20-year-old, who formerly played for AS Roma, is determined to contribute to Cremonese’s quest for a swift return to the Italian top-flight league following their relegation last season.
Afena-Gyan joined Cremonese during the winter transfer window but couldn’t prevent the struggling Serie A side from dropping down a division.
