Group C

Brazil defeated England by 2-1 with Nogueira and Da Mata scoring for Brazil with Joel Ndala getting the consolation for England.

In the other game,  Iran scored 5 against New Caledonia as Razaghinia’s brace, a goal each from Gandhi, Askari and Taheri completed the massacre.

Brazil,  England and Iran all secured aix points and have qualified to the knockout phase.

New Caledonia U-17 has conceded 24 goals in three games without scoring even one.

Group D

Argentina topped Group D with a 4-0 thrashing of Poland with goals from Laplace, Roberto, Subiabre and Lopez kicking Poland out with an abysmal record of losing all three games.

Japan beat Senegal 2-0 in a must-win game to ensure qualification to the knockout phase with a brace from Takaoka in the second half in the 62nd and 72nd minutes respectively.

Argentina, Senegal and Japan all had six points but are separated by score difference.
