Bad news hit Ghana as star player Baba Abdul Rahman is ruled out by injury ahead of the Nigeria clash this month in the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers.
Rahman has been ruled out of World Cup play-off against Nigeria after picking up a knee injury at his club, Reading FC in English Championship
According to Reading FC manager Paul Ince, the left back will be out for two to three weeks more than expected.
With this latest development, the 27-year-old on loan Chelsea left-back will miss the playoffs when Black Stars takes on Super Eagles of Nigeria for a place in the next FIFA mundial.
He played at the 33rd Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon when Ghana exited the competition at group stage.
