Ghana could be in big trouble when they face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the final phase of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers for Qatar.

The Black Stars could be without the services of newly found darling Daniel Kofi Kyereh when they face their bitterest rivals on March 24 in Ghana and March 27 in Nigeria.

The 25-year-old playmaker who missed out on his team’s previous game before last weekend’s win on the road due to injury has aggravated his old injury today.

Kyereh could not complete the team training today ahead of their clash against Hannover 96 on Sunday at home.

On his injury return last weekend, Kofi Kyereh dazzled in FC St Pauli’s win over Jahn Regensburg away from home with a jaw-breaking winning goal.

He has six goals and nine assists this season in the German Bundesliga 2 in 18 matches.

The extent of his injury is unknown but it did not look good as he was sent straight to the dressing room.
