Karim Benzema will definitely win the Pichichi award for the 2021/22 La Liga season.
The Real Madrid attacker lead the top scorers chart of the La Liga season with 27 goals – that is 9 more goals than his closest challenger , Iago Aspas of Celta Vigo.
In Spanish football, the Trofeo Pichichi is awarded by the sports newspaper Marca to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season and Benzema has never ever won this award since he moved to the White Angels in 2009/10 season from Olympique Lyon.
Real Madrid are already Champions of Spain this season and Benzema will be surely be crowned top scorer of the campaign when the season closes on May 22nd.
