Football world commiserates with Ronaldo after death of his newborn baby

The Manchester United forward and his partner Georgina Rodríguez, announced the death of their newborn son in a joint statement posted on Monday on social media.

There have been several messages of sympathy from the global football world to the family of the Portuguese great.

Liverpool FC wrote “All of us here at Liverpool FC send our deepest condolences to you, Georgina and the family”.

United teammate Marcus Rashford wrote : ” Thoughts are with you and Georgina brother ♥️ I’m so sorry”

The official Twitter account of the Premier League also sent their message to comfort one of the greatest players ever to play in the Premier League : “The thoughts and condolences of everyone at the Premier League are with you and your family, Cristiano.”

“Everyone at Manchester City sends our deepest condolences to you and Georgina.” This is what Manchester City wrote.

Professional Footballers’ Association : @Cristiano Everyone at the PFA sends our deepest condolences, our thoughts are with Georgina, Cristiano and their family.”
