Ghanaian lower-tier club Kwaebibirem United FC has secured the services of seasoned defender Christopher Bonney from Karela FC in the Ghana Premier League.
The experienced right-back, who played a pivotal role for Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarf in 2012, expressed his delight upon joining the club, expressing gratitude to the team’s management for facilitating his inclusion in the squad.
“I am extremely happy and thrilled to be part of the Kwaebibirem pride,” said Bonney after finalizing his contract with the Evergreen.
Bonney brings with him a wealth of experience, having previously featured for top-flight teams such as Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak, where he showcased his skills as a dependable defender.
Kwaebibirem United FC is hopeful that the defender’s extensive experience and abilities will bolster their defense as they strive for success in the ongoing Eastern Regional Division Two League.
The team’s upcoming match will take place on Sunday against Vidako SA at the ASEC Park in Asuom.
