Evelyn Nsiah Asare, the CEO of Hasaacas Ladies and a former board member of Asante Kotoko, Evelyn Nsiah Asare was involved in a car accident on the Sunyani-Kumasi road last Friday.
According to GhanaSoccernet, she is currently receiving medical treatment at the Komfo Anokye Hospital in Kumasi and is in the process of recovering.
Evelyn is one of the few women playing crucial roles in football administration in Ghana. During her tenure as CEO of Hasaacas Ladies, she has overseen the team’s remarkable achievements both domestically and in the sub-region.
Notably, the club won the 2021 WAFU Cup and made it to the final of the CAF Women’s Champions League, where they narrowly lost to Mamelodi Sundowns.
The news of the accident understandably caused concern among the football community, but the positive update is that Evelyn Nsiah Asare is steadily making progress in her recovery.
