Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC defender Ibrahim Imoro remains clubless after leaving Sudanese giant Al Hilal Omdurman at the end of the 2022-23 season.
The Ghanaian international is still without a football club heading into the 2023-24 campaign after terminating his contract with the Sudanese giant on July 5, 2023.
He joined the Sudanese giants Al Hilal Omdurman for a reported transfer fee of $410,000 from Ghana’s most successful football team Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC.
The left-back at Al Hilal Omdurman was paid a total sum of $10,000 per month during his time at the Blue and Whites outfit.
Ibrahim Imoro played 28 matches for Kotoko scoring two goals and providing eight assists as he helped the porcupine warriors win the 2021/2022 Ghana Premier League title before his move.
The Sudanese giants, Al-Hilal confirmed the contract termination of the Ghanaian defender, Imoro Ibrahim after just eleven months.
The club has, however, announced that they will initiate legal action against the 23-year-old but nothing has changed yet.
According Al Hilal Imoro on Tuesday, July 4 allegedly defied his contract terms and had his contract terminated for unfair reasons.
He remains clubless as the 2023-24 campaign get started across the world and could return to Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC for a while before making another move abroad.
