Former Asante Kotoko defender Ibrahim Imoro makes Ghana’s 55-man squad

Former Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC defender Ibrahim Imoro has earned a place in Otto Addo’s 55-man provisional list for the World Cup.

The Al Hilal Omdurman defender has rightfully been included in the Ghana team as they prepare for the FIFA Mundial this month in Qatar.

He’s been playing consistent football for his new club in the Sudanese Premier League and the CAF Champions League prelims.

Goalkeepers: Jojo Wollacott, Danlad Ibrahim, Abdul Manaf Nurudeen, Richard Ofori and Lawrence Ati Zigi

Defenders: Denis Odoi, Tariq Lamptey, Alidu Seidu, Andy Yiadom, Baba Rahman, Gideon Mensah, Patrick Kpozo, Ibrahim Imoro, Denis Korsah, Alexander Djiku, Mohammed Salisu, Abdul Mumin, Jonathan Mensah, Daniel Amartey, Joseph Aidoo, Stephan Ambrosius, Kasim Adams.

Midfielders: Thomas Partey, Idrissu Baba, Edmund Addo, Mubarak Wakaso, Elisha Owusu, Mudasiru Salifu, Salis Abdul Samed, Andre Ayew, Majeed Ashimeru, Joseph Paintsil, Mohammed Kudus, Daniel Kofi-Kyereh, Afriyie Barnieh, Jeffrey Schlupp

Wingers: Jordan Ayew, Kamaldeen Sulemana, Mohammed Dauda, Ernest Nuamah, Yaw Yeboah, Emmanuel Gyasi, Issahaku Fatawu, Osman Bukari, Ransford Yeboah, Kamal Sowah, Samuel Owusu, Christopher Antwi-Adjei, Joel Fameyeh.
