Former Ghana Premier League top scorer Yaw Annor has thrown more lights on his debut season in the Egyptian Premier League.
The former Obuasi Ashantigold SC attacker says It’s not easy playing in a different league for the first time and had to work with many coaches at the club
According to him, getting to the latter stages of the league was better for him at Ismaily SC before the end of the season.
The winger scooped the 2021/22 Premier League top scorer prize after bagging 21 goals at the end of the season.
In his debut season in the Egyptian league, the Ghanaian forward scored seven goals and provided an assist in 28 games for the Yellow and Blues.
“It’s not easy playing in a different league for the first time. I worked with many coaches at the club but I think things were better for me in the latter part of the season” he told Kessben FM.
His current contract with Ismaily is expected to expire in the summer of 2027.
