Kwasi Okyere-Wriedt, a striker based in Germany, is set to make a comeback to the Ghana national team, the Black Stars, for their upcoming match in the qualifiers for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) tournament.
Ghana is scheduled to face Madagascar in the AFCON qualifiers on June 18.
Ahead of this crucial clash, head coach Chris Hughton has announced a 24-man squad today, and among the selected players is striker Kwasi Okyere Wriedt.
The forward, who plays for Holstein Kiel, is returning to the Ghana squad after missing the doubleheader against Angola in March.
Wriedt will be eager to impress coach Chris Hughton and secure a place in the Black Stars squad moving forward.
