Ghanaian winger Clinton Duodu made his first appearance for Apollon Limassol in a commanding 4-0 win over Othellos in the Cyprus Cup on Wednesday.
Duodu, who joined the Cypriot giants from Bechem United, made an immediate impact in his debut, helping his side secure a dominant victory and progress in the cup competition.
The talented winger is regarded as a rising star and is expected to add flair and pace to Apollon Limassol’s attack as the season progresses.
Duodu joins Limassol with his deal expected to end in May 2027 after the 19 year old’s four year run with the Ghana Premier League side.
The skillful winger has been one of the highly rated young footballers in Ghana’s top flight division for the past couple of seasons. Duodu plays predominantly as a right winger but can play as a secondary striker and left winger.
Duodu made 96 appearances in all for Bechem United and registered seven goals and three assists in the process and has featured in Ghana’s Under 20 side, the Black Satellites.
