Ex-Black Meteors striker Samuel Obeng scored his maiden goal this campaign in Spain for SD Huesca in their 2-0 victory over Alcorcon in the La Liga 2 on Saturday.
The Ghanaian forward lasted 57 minutes on the field of play and was taken off three minutes to hit the hour mark.
Miguel Loureiro scored a beautiful goal from a brilliant free-kick by Oscar Sielva to give Huesca the lead after 21 minutes.
While Alcorcon had tested Huesca’s goalkeeper Alvaro Fernandez earlier in the match, Samuel Obeng found the net in the 25th minute, marking his first goal of the season.
On a counter break by the away team, Hugo Vallejo nicely set up Obeng to score the insurance goal to make it 2-0 at full time for the away team to register his name on the score sheet for the first time this season.
