Ex Ghana captain Stephen Appiah has sent messages of condolences to the people of Turkey following an earthquake in the country’s southern part which has killed over 2000 people.
Appiah who spent three successful years in Turkey winning two Superlig trophies with Fenerbahce was sad with what has happened in the Eurasian country and has wished them well.
“I stand with the people of Turkey in this difficult time. My condolences to the people who lost family and friends yesterday.” Appiah tweeted.
The 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Antakya, Sanliurfa as well as parts of neighboring Syria.
