Former Ghana star midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has sent a heartwarming message to Andre Ayew on his move to French Ligue 1 side Le Havre AC.
The former Las Palmas player wished the captain of Ghana’s Black Stars well as he finally gets a new club since leaving Nottingham Forest in June.
“Keep shining bro, standing firm. Good luck bro, Allah is the reason”, he wrote on social media.
Ayew has been a free agent since a short stint at Premier League side Nottingham Forest came to an end in the summer.
Le Havre confirmed the signing of Ayew later on Saturday and he is was presented presented to the Stade Océane ahead of the Ligue 1 encounter against AS Monaco.
Les Ciel et Marine are currently seventh in Ligue 1 following their promotion from Ligue 2. Ayew will compete with Lille OSC loanee Mohamed Bayo for a starting spot in the team.
