Ghanaian forward Kwame Kizito found the back of the net to salvage a draw for Ariana FC against Vanersborgs IF in the Swedish third-tier league.

Kizito, the former Hearts of Oak attacker, played the full 90 minutes in the 1-1 away draw on Sunday.

Sweden international Valon Gashi opened the scoring for Vanersborgs IF by finding the back of the net in the 17th minute, giving the home team the lead at halftime.

However, Ariana FC mounted a comeback, and it was Kwame Kizito, the Ghanaian international, who leveled the score in the 51st minute.

With this goal, Kwame Kizito has now scored five goals in 19 appearances in the third-tier league this season, following his arrival at the club in February 2023.
