Former Executive Member of Asante Kotoko, Kojo Bonsu, has pleaded with fans of the club to tone down on the management of the club as they seek to restore them to glory days.
The Porcupine Warriors have struggled so far in the 2022/23 season and currently find themselves outside the top four of the betPawa Ghana Premier League.
As a result of a poor run of form, Kotoko have also had to sack the head coach they started the season with Abdulai Gazale now stepping in as caretaker until the end of the season.
However, Bonsu has called on those managing the club to get an academy and do proper scouting to help the club regain its lost glory on the domestic and continental fronts.
“We have to do proper scouting and get an academy. If we don’t have an academy all the players will just come and go.
“So we need to have a system but unfortunately, we are not prepared to wait for the system. We need to build and have patience and give management time to run the club,” he said on Luv FM.
