Emmanuel Sarkodie, the former Asante Kotoko midfielder, has confirmed that he will be joining Nations FC ahead of the new Ghana Premier League season.
The 23-year-old has successfully completed his medical examinations, clearing the way for him to sign a two-year contract with the debutant club.
Sarkodie is making the move to Nations FC as a free agent, having previously played for Kenpong Football Academy in the lower-tier league.
In the coming days, the Kumasi-based club is expected to officially announce the signing of the talented midfielder.
“I have completed my medicals, and everything went well. I will soon sign my contract with Nations FC. Just waiting for the officials,” Sarkodie shared with Nkratasem.
His signing marks Nations FC’s first acquisition in preparation for the upcoming 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign.
As they gear up for their debut season in the topflight league, Nations FC has also appointed Kassim Mingle from Bechem United as their new coach, showcasing their determination to strengthen the team.
