Former Asante Kotoko striker, Franck Etouga Mbella has embarked on a loan move from Egyptian side Al Masry Sporting Club to El Gouna until the culmination of the season.
During his tenure with Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, the Cameroonian forward left an indelible mark. Franck Etouga Mbella earned the distinction of becoming the club’s all-time top scorer in the Ghana Premier League, netting twenty-one goals in the 2021/22 season under the guidance of coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum. He played a pivotal role in securing Asante Kotoko Sporting Club’s 26th Ghana Premier League title.
Following the conclusion of the 2021/22 football season, Franck Etouga Mbella Thierry secured a three-year deal with Egyptian outfit Al Masry Sporting Club, making the move from Asante Kotoko Sporting Club for a transfer fee of approximately three hundred thousand dollars.
In his time in Egypt, Franck Thierry Etouga Mbella has contributed with two goals in fourteen matches for Al Masry Sporting Club across all competitions since joining in September 2022.
Before his stint with Asante Kotoko Sporting Club, Franck Thierry Etouga Mbella had previously played for Nkufo Academy and AS Fortuna de Mfou in Cameroon.
