Former Legon Cities winger Stephen Appiah Asare is on the verge of joining Asante Kotoko in the ongoing transfer window.
Asante Kotoko, known as the Porcupine Warriors, have been actively recruiting new talent after releasing more than 20 first-team players at the end of the previous season.
Appiah, 28, has caught the eye of Dr. Ogum and the technical team at Asante Kotoko, leading to discussions about a potential move to the Kumasi-based club.
The former Tema Youth captain has already arrived in Kumasi for his medical examination, a necessary step before finalizing his deal with the Porcupine Warriors.
Appiah moved to at Legon Cities during the second round of the season, featuring in 14 matches during the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League campaign. He scored two goals and provided one assist for the Royals during his time with the club.
