Denzeil Boadu, a one time best youth player in England is now a rapper after temporarily quitting football.
Boadu. 25 was considered the best talent in England when he was in the Manchester City Academy before Dortmund signed him.
He played with Jadon Sancho at the Dortmund youth side and was considered the better player. However, he failed to reach his full potential.
Injuries took the better part of him and he has struggled since being released by Dortmund. He moved back to England and signed for Crawley Town but was released in 2020.
Boadu took up rap music in 2021 and has now deleted all his football photos. He has released five singles so far with one titled “Letter To Ball” and he admits the sport still occupies him to this day. One line reads: “How can my first love turn into the deepest of pains?”.
