Yussif Nurudeen Mohammed, a former RTU defender, has successfully undergone a medical examination in anticipation of his imminent move to Asante Kotoko, as reported by Mo Shaban.
The dynamic center-back is on track to finalize a permanent contract with Asante Kotoko on Tuesday, following a productive medical evaluation conducted on Monday, August 21, 2023.
Nurudeen Mohammed’s transition to Asante Kotoko comes as a free transfer, following the conclusion of his contract with RTU after the conclusion of the 2022/23 league season.
During his time with RTU, he played a pivotal role in the team’s performance and played a crucial part in securing the club’s position in the premier league during the previous season.
Interestingly, Nurudeen Mohammed had been a desired addition for Hearts of Oak, and there were even initial transfer discussions with the Phobians. However, Asante Kotoko managed to seize the opportunity and secure the deal.
The official announcement of his transfer is expected to occur in the coming days, with coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressing keen interest in collaborating with him.
