Moro Ibrahim, the former assistant coach of WAFA SC, has been appointed as the head of Asante Kotoko’s yet-to-be-formed youth team.
Ibrahim’s new role comes after his recent appointment as an assistant coach within the Asante Kotoko technical team. In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he will oversee the club’s youth development strategy.
This move follows the departure of Abdulai Gazale, who has joined Nsoatreman FC, leaving the position open for Moro Ibrahim to step in.
Moro Ibrahim’s coaching journey saw him guide PAC Academy to the First Division by clinching victory in the Ashanti Regional Division Two play-offs during the 2022/23 season.
Moro Ibrahim’s collaboration with Narteh Ogum at WAFA SC has led to their reunion, and his accomplishments include guiding PAC Academy to the first division by clinching victory in the Ashanti Regional division two league.
Currently, Asante Kotoko’s coaching staff includes David Ocloo and Burton Wilson Asare as assistant coaches, alongside head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum.
