In Chelsea’s 3-1 victory over Astana in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday, four players of Ghanaian origin featured in the match.

The game saw Chelsea secure a 3-1 win, with goals from Marc Guiu and Renato Veiga ensuring all three points.

Defender Josh Acheampong, Tyrique George, Samuel Rak-Sakyi, and Ato Ampah were all involved in the match, with Ampah making his much-anticipated debut.

  • Josh Acheampong was once again a valuable member of the squad, showcasing his skill and commitment in Chelsea’s dominant performance.
  • Tyrique George, who has Ghanaian roots through his family, is also eligible to represent Nigeria, adding an extra layer of excitement as he continues to develop his career at the club.
  • Samuel Rak-Sakyi featured prominently, further cementing his status as an exciting prospect within Chelsea’s ranks.
  • Finally, Ato Ampah made his debut, coming on as a substitute in the second half, making an impact and marking a milestone in his promising career.

The quartet’s involvement in the game is a testament to Chelsea’s focus on nurturing young talent, with players of Ghanaian descent continuing to make their mark on European football.

As the Blues continue to build a strong, youthful squad, these players are set to be important figures in the club’s future.
