Paris Saint-Germain would like to salute Angel Di Maria and his 7 seasons in the red and blue jersey. The Argentinian won 18 titles and became the club’s all-time leading assist maker. 

Arrived at Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2015, Angel Di Maria immediately established himself on the right wing of the Parisian attack by signing 15 goals and 25 assists, in all competitions, for his first season. The native of Rosario , during this campaign, made the record for the most assists in a season (18).

In 7 seasons with Paris Saint-Germain, the Argentinian international played 294 matches for a total of 91 goals and 111 assists.

On May 19, 2021, during the Coupe de France final against AS Monaco (2-0 victory), he definitely entered the legend by signing his 104th assist in the red and blue jersey, thus becoming the best passer in club history, ahead of Safet Susic.

“Angel Di Maria has definitely marked the history of the club” reacted Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, President of Paris Saint-Germain.

“He will be remembered by supporters as a player with an irreproachable state of mind, who showed unfailing commitment to defend our colors. I invite the whole Paris Saint-Germain family to meet tomorrow at the Parc des Princes to pay him the tribute he deserves” Al Khelaifi added.
