Ghana Premier League side Bechem United FC head coach, Kassim Mingle says Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC Cameroonian striker Franck Thierry Mbella Etouga is only good when he plays in Kumasi ahead of their week 19 clash in Bechem.
The Hunters will host the Porcupine Warriors at 3pm on Tuesday afternoon at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour park in Bechem.
According to the gaffer, Etouga’s inconsistent form away from home in terms of goal scoring will continue in Bechem on Tuesday hence there’s no need to worry about the Cameroonian forward.
“Friday they played against Hearts of Oak and they couldn’t surprise Hearts of Oak, so definitely the same thing is going to happen at our home grounds”, coach Mingle stated.
“They played against Hearts of Oak yesterday and we couldn’t see them in the game. The Etouga he only scores goals in their home; away matches he can’t score goals.”
“You watch the statistics you will see, all the goals he scored are home goals. So it’s going to continue, yesterday they played they couldn’t score. It’s going to continue like that”, he added.
The Cameroonian has 13 goals in the ongoing 2021-22 Ghana Premier League season despite missing the first six games of the season.
Eleven (11) out of his 13 goals has come from home specifically matches played at the Baba Yara stadium in Kumasi.
