Freezy Macbones will bounce back stronger – Boxer assures after first defeat

UK-based, Ghanaian boxer, Seth Gyimah alias Freezy Macbones has reacted to his defeat in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal.

Freezy Macbones lost to Senegalese boxer, Seydou Konate in the 2024 Olympic Games qualifiers in Dakar, Senegal.

The UK-based Ghanaian boxer lost on his Amateur debut and so failed to advance in the qualifiers in his quest to secure an automatic spot to the Olympics.

Reacting to the defeat which was his first in his career, Freezy Macbones promised to come back even stronger as the journey has just begun.

“Am very devastated by today defeat but nevertheless I always take positive thing from a negative situation. I will bounce back, I will be back stronger. It is not over yet.”

“I would like to sincerely thank Ghanaians for their support and my team mates as well. Love you all,” the boxer shared in a Twitter post.

Despite his defeat, Freezy Macbones has another chance to qualify for the Olympic Games through the Asia and Europe playoffs in 2024.
