Head coach of Bibiani Goldstars, Frimpong Manso, has shared his thoughts on the competitive Ghana Premier League title race, identifying Nations FC as strong contenders alongside his side.
With seven games remaining in the season, the title race is heating up. Bibiani Goldstars and Asante Kotoko are currently tied on 47 points after 26 matches, while Nations FC and Medeama follow closely with 45 and 41 points, respectively.
In an interview, Coach Manso dismissed suggestions that the title fight is only between Kotoko and Goldstars, stressing that Nations FC is also firmly in the mix.
“Ghana Premier League title race is not between Kotoko and Goldstars. As we speak, Nations FC is a title contender,” he stated. “We want to win the league title and that is the objective now, but it depends on how we approach the remaining matches.”
Goldstars are set to play Bechem United on Wednesday afternoon in an outstanding fixture. With both teams eager to secure all three points, the match is expected to be a thrilling encounter that could influence the shape of the title race.
