Fulham Football Club, a team in the English Premiership, is edging closer to securing a deal with Chelsea FC for the acquisition of forward Callum Hudson-Odoi.

Reports from Topskills Sports UK indicate that the agreement is anticipated to be finalized within the next 48 hours. Personal terms are believed to be a non-issue, as both clubs are currently in the process of ironing out the transfer details.

Hudson-Odoi, whose Chelsea contract is in its final year, is not part of coach Mauricio Pochettino’s plans for the upcoming 2023/24 season.

The English-born Ghanaian experienced limited playing time, spending the latter part of the previous season on loan at German side Bayern Leverkusen. During his time there, he made just 14 appearances for the Black and Reds.

At the age of 22, Hudson-Odoi still holds eligibility to represent Ghana on the international stage, despite having previously played for England in various youth categories ranging from U16 to U21 levels. He has also made three appearances for the senior England team.
