All is set for the 2023 African Cup of Nations slated for Janaury to Febaaury 2024 after the draw was held in Ivory Coast on Thursday, October 12.
The 24 competing teams were paired into 6 different groups of 4 countries each. The first and second placed teams in each group get automatic qualification to the next stage while four third best placed teams will also compete in the knockout stage.
Fans will be excicted with some big games in the group stage with host nation Ivory Coast taking on Nigeria in Group A.
Big game in Group B with Ghana locking horns with record winners Egypt while defending champions Senegal will also be tested in the group stage against 5 times winners Cameroon.
With 24 competing countries, the opening ceremony of the 2023 AFCON will be held on January 13 while the final match will be staged on Febraaury 11, 2024.
