Disqualified George Afriyie has filed an appeal to contest the decision of the Ghana Football Association Vetting Committee.
According to a report filed by Joy Sports, the former GFA Vice president has filed his appeal and will add details to the appeal on Monday, September 11, 2023.
This comes days after George Afriyie petitioned the GFA for the raw video recordings of his vetting.
Additionally, the former GFA Vice president has requested for the unedited video interview of Leslie Kuuku Bartels and Jeffrey Asare as the interview of the aforementioned individuals were used to disqualify him.
George Afriyie was disqualified by the Vetting Committee of the Ghana Football Association for failing to meet the requirements stated in the regulations.
He was thus, given three working days to file his appeal if he disagrees with the outcome from the Vetting Committee.
