Former Aston Villa youth team coach George Boateng has been officially maintained by the Ghana Football Association as the assistant coach of the Black Stars.
The GFA communicated this on Sunday after announcing the appointment of Chris Hughton as head coach of the side. George will also work alongside Didi Dramani.
Boateng was the assistant as the Black Stars qualified and participated in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
His first major assignment will be against Madagascar in March.
