German Bundesliga 2 side, Schalke 04 have signed German-born of Ghanaian descent, Anton Donkor on a three-year deal.
The former Everton U23 loanee joins Schalke on a free transfer from fellow lower division outfit Eintracht Braunschweig this summer.
Anton Donkor is Schalke’s first summer signing ahead of the 2024/25 season. The left-back has penned a contract until 2027 with the Royal Blues.
Despite having played for the Germany U18 and U20 national youth teams, Donkor remains eligible to switch allegiance and play for Ghana at the international level.
