Reagy Ofosu Baah, a Ghanaian winger born in Germany, has expressed his belief that the Black Stars should give their all and secure a victory in their final AFCON qualifying match against the Central African Republic in September.
Playing for Ohod Al-Medina FC in the Saudi Arabian First Division League, Reagy is confident that if the senior national team qualifies for the tournament, they have the potential to win next year’s AFCON.
During an exclusive interview on Original TV’s Sports Punch show with King Kaninja, Reagy shared his deep connection to Ghana, stating that he feels more Ghanaian than German.
Reagy expressed his support for the Black Stars, stating that he closely follows the team and acknowledges their capabilities.
As a Ghanaian player, he emphasized his willingness to answer the call if the nation needs him to represent the team.
” I’m a Ghanaian, I love the country, I love the Black Stars and really want them to succeed.”
“I hope the Black Stars win the next AFCON. I do follow the team, and I know they are very capable.”
Earlier this year, the Ghanaian international completed his move to Saudi Arabian club Ohod Club, following a successful spell with Ionikos FC in the Greek league.
Ohod FC, also known as “Al-Jabal,” derived its name from Mount Uhud and has clinched the Saudi First Division title three times while finishing as runners-up on five occasions.
Their home matches are held at the Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Stadium.
