The 1991 World Player of the Year, Lothar Matthäus has bought Ghana Premier League side Accra Lions, alongside two other partners according to der spiegel
Lothar Matthäus – “I like to spend all my time in football. I want to give back to the community.”
“I want to help with my experience. To the Accra Lions players, we know the football a bit longer than you so you can always come to me or anyone in the team for help.”
The Premier League club has been bought by the German former star alongside former Ghana Black Stars winger Frank Acheampong and Oliver König.
