The 2023/24 betPawa Ghana Premier League is set to begin on the weekend of Friday, September 15th to Monday, September 18th, 2023, with matches taking place at all nine Premier League venues.
Clubs are reminded of the mandatory rest period scheduled from June 19 to July 28, 2023, in preparation for the start of the new season.
The Registration window is set to commence on June 20, and all stakeholders must take note of this important exercise, in line with the GFA Regulations which mandate the opening of registration before each football season begins.
Clubs will have until September 1, 2023, to complete their player registrations.
Pre-season preparations are scheduled to begin on July 29 and conclude on September 14, 2023, ensuring teams have ample time to get ready for the upcoming campaign.
Any inquiries or queries from clubs should be submitted by September 4, 2023.
On September 3rd, the much-anticipated Champion of Champions match between Premier League champions, Medeama SC, and FA Cup winners, Dreams FC, will kick off as planned.
This calendar was approved by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for the 2023-24 football season. Clubs and stakeholders are urged to adhere to the set dates and deadlines for a smooth and successful start to the new season.
