Ghana Football Association President Kurt Okraku has predicted a highly competitive landscape for the upcoming 2024/25 football season, citing the intense preparation of teams across various leagues.
The FA President’s remarks have sparked anticipation and excitement among fans, as teams gear up for the new season.
The Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League, and Division One League are all set to kick off, with teams like Hasaacas Ladies, Nsoatreman, and Samartex already in camp preparing for the new season.

The ongoing Division One Super Cup in Nsoatre is seen as a precursor to the competitive spirit expected in the new season, according to Okraku. “The new football season is gradually nearing us, and it promises to be very competitive,” he stated. “Our clubs in the GPL, Women’s Premier League, and Division One League are all preparing diligently. Hasaacas, for instance, are already in camp getting ready for the Women’s Champions League.”
The FA President’s remarks have underscored the anticipation and excitement building up for what is expected to be an “extremely interesting” season across all leagues.
