The has confirmed a change in the Ghana Premier League calendar, moving Matchday 30 to Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
This decision follows the suspension of weekend fixtures as a mark of respect for the late Dominic Frimpong. The adjustment is also intended to give enough time to recover and manage the emotional and logistical impact of the incident affecting the club.
In its announcement, the FA urged all participating clubs, referees, and stakeholders to take note of the revised fixture and comply with the updated schedule to ensure smooth competition management.
Despite the rescheduling, the league timeline beyond Matchday 30 remains unchanged. Matchdays 31 to 34 will proceed as originally planned, with Matchday 31 scheduled to take place from Friday, May 1 to Sunday, May 3, 2026.
The FA says the adjustment is part of efforts to balance competitive continuity with respect and support for affected clubs during a difficult period in the season.
