A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed for the mutual benefit of the Saudi Arabian Football Association (SAFF) and the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
On December 8, a signing ceremony was place at Saudi House in Doha between SAFF President Yasser Almisehal and GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku.
The goal of the agreement is to forge close ties between the two Federations in order to support the growth, success, and promotion of football at all levels.
It offers a framework for cooperation between grassroots and professional football, including youth and women’s football.
SAFF is dedicated to hosting the men’s and women’s national teams of Ghana for games, training sessions, and exchanges of key professionals in coaching, officiating, and administrative concerns.
“We’re excited to establish this MoU with the Ghana Football Association and create this partnership moving forward,” said President Al Misehal.
“The quality and talent in Ghanaian football is known across the world and we at SAFF are keen to work closely together to allow our youngsters to gain valuable playing experience while benefiting from their key insights and strengths. We look forward to working together in a meaningful manner and open up mutually beneficial opportunities.” he added.
