Ghanaian-born Niger international defender Najeeb Yakubu has officially joined Indonesian club Garudayaksa FC for the 2026/27 football season.
The club announced the high-profile transfer today, July 21, 2026, unveiling the versatile full-back as a major defensive reinforcement ahead of their upcoming league campaign.
The 26-year-old moves to Garudayaksa FC following a highly successful stint with rival Indonesian side Persijap Jepara.
During the 2025/26 Super League campaign, Yakubu established himself as a reliable force in domestic football, registering 22 competitive appearances and earning widespread praise for his extreme pace and tactical intelligence.
